Orthopaedic Clinical Nurse Specialist 0.6 FTE

The Orthopaedic Department at Middlemore is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team. In this senior nursing role you will use your expert orthopaedic knowledge to manage acute and elective demand to support an improved patient care experience and provide advice for nursing staff across the organisation.

The role covers a breadth of areas including a focus on speciality education with clinical coaching, support of staff and co-ordination of inpatient flow.  

We need an experienced RN with proven leadership abilities, acute and elective orthopaedic experience and knowledge to be part of the dedicated orthopaedic team. The role is Monday to Wednesday, but flexibility may be required for cover.

 

 Essential

  • Registered Nurse with current APC
  • Minimum of five years recent orthopaedic clinical experience
  • Post Graduate qualification or equivalent in relevant area
