In an exciting collaboration Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai Auckland and Waitematā districts are working together with a shared vision and purpose of delivering better outcomes, high quality services, and maximising the health and well-being of the people of Auckland. 

The two districts are embarking on an exciting project to improve the immunisation coverage of our tamariki as our borders open up. We are seeking experienced registered nurses and pharmacists to be part of a vaccination team to deliver a high quality, effective and safe immunisation in homes and community settings.

You will be child-and-whānau-friendly, innovative and independent but enjoy working in a team, with a positive can-do attitude. As a minimum you must be a NZ Registered Nurse or Pharmacist with a current Annual Practising Certificate and Authorised Vaccinator certification. The ideal candidates will already be qualified and confident to vaccinate babies and people of all ages. Training and support will also be provided.

This is a casual position, with shifts available Monday to Saturday. The position will be based within the Uri Ririki Child Health Connection Centre at Greenlane Clinical Centre. One current project has availability between 1 August and 30 September 2022, with potential to be continued onto other immunisation related projects.

Uri Ririki Child Health Connection Centre is a team passionate about the health and wellbeing of tamariki and their whānau supporting the administration and co-ordination of the National Immunisation Register (NIR), National Child Health Information Platform (NCHIP) and Noho Āhuru – Healthy Homes for Te Toka Tumai Auckland and Waitematā Districts.
