Our vision for the future is to change hearts, minds and lives…do you want to work for an organisation like this? Te Papa stands proud as an iconic national building in Wellington's CBD, housing the treasures of our nation and is a vibrant destination for both national and international visitors. Biculturalism is a founding philosophy and practice of Te Papa designed to explore the contribution of Māori language and culture to the life, culture and activities of the museum in small and large ways.
If that's a yes then come and join Te Papa's in house Service Desk with a team that is pretty cool (well we like to think so), no two days are same from assisting with an event set up for a 1000 people to setting up a microscope to peer at 1000 year old fossils and everything in between.
We have been on a journey to modernise our ICT environment migrating our infrastructure to SaaS or IaaS. There is still work to done, so we are now looking for an entry level IT Analyst to join our Technology Team to support and problem solve across Te Papa's platforms. We want to ensure our kaimahi have the tools to do their job and that means we want you to be customer service focussed and have the ability to tread in the shoes of the kaimahi we support and as such we roster a regular ‘on call' service.
To be successful you will need:
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Awareness of M365 applications
- Awareness of AZURE/AWS
- Awareness of Exchange online
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to consult with stakeholders to ask qualifying questions
- Be able to work with multiple stakeholders across the business
- A positive attitude to learning
- Troubleshooting experience
- To be available to participate in the regular ‘on call' roster'
