Covering rostered duties Monday to Sunday
We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Police Liaison Service based at the Hastings Police Station.
Our service is committed to finding creative ways of providing timely, locally delivered, high quality assessments and effective interventions that maximise health of people affected by mental health and addiction issues.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate, and committed to working with whaiora, Police, Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand, Te Matau a Māui, Hawke’s Bay services and wider community services in Hawke’s Bay.
Our ideal candidate will be able to work flexibly and collaboratively with a range of professionals. You will need to have strong communication skills and an ability to work autonomously and within the Multi-disciplinary Team (MDT). A mature, confident and empathetic outlook is essential for the role.
This role requires proven and effective leadership skills, to be an agent for change and have the ability to work collaboratively and in partnership. The successful applicant will also need to be a current Duly Authorised Officer (DAO), or willing to undertake training once employed.
A level of physical fitness and resilience is required for this position as well as the someone who shares our values.
