Mō te tūnga | About the role
Parkside Ground Medical Ward based at Christchurch Hospital cares for a wide variety of general medical conditions including eating disorders and we are now also the COVID ward.
We have recently relocated to our newly outfitted ward with filtered ventilation to ensure we are well equipped to care for COVID patients.
Our medical ward now has 30 beds currently with the capacity for 33 if required and offers an endless variety of medical conditions with a constant in and out flow of patients.

Ko wai koe | About You
Whether you are a recently Enrolled Nurse or an experienced Registered Nurse, we want to hear from you. Experience preferably within an acute medical ward setting, a desire to learn and an understanding of the social needs and backgrounds of patients and their families/Whanau.
A good sense of humour, the ability to develop rapport with patients and colleagues, and exceptional team work will go a long way in this environment and ensure you assist our patients to achieve the best health outcomes.

- Acute medical experience is desirable
- A NZ Registered Nurse with current Annual Practising Certificate
