About the role:

 

This is a rare opportunity within the eInvoicing team – an initiative that is new to Australasia so you will be instrumental in fostering the environment to encourage uptake of eInvoicing in NZ. 


The Senior Relationship Manager eInvoicing is responsible for creating, building and maintaining relationships with large, influential organisations operating in New Zealand to encourage them to adopt eInvoicing. This is primarily externally focused on building relationships outside of MBIE. This role will be working with large businesses and government agencies as we build the credibility of the eInvoicing network across New Zealand.


The Senior Relationship Manager eInvoicing will be responsible for supporting businesses to be eInvoicing enabled. This will include attending events, providing advice and information and connecting them with the support people in the MBIE eInvoicing team and other providers.

Skills and experience required:

 

We’re looking for:


•    Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement experience working between Government and the private sector, or in the private sector. 
•    The ability to persuade and influence people in external organisations to devote time, money and resources to adopt eInvoicing and to encourage their customers to adopt. 
•    A high level of understanding and appreciation of the political landscape and wider Government communication priorities.
•    Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining an environment focused on continuous improvement to enhance organisational performance.
•    Proven ability to work closely with delivery staff to ensure that the customer experience is understood and reflected in communications development and implementation.
•    Knowledge of partnership / stakeholder engagement disciplines and processes. 
•    Experience and knowledge of either finance and finance systems or cloud software would be beneficial. 
•    All applications must be a New Zealand citizen or hold a residence class visa
