Kōrero mō te tūranga ' About the role
Hutt Hospital is currently looking for kitchen assistants to join our food service team. This position is part-time rostered and rotating including weekends. Usual hours are 4:00pm-7:00pm with plenty of opportunities for extra 7:00am-4:00pm shifts.
The role includes meal assembly, basic food preparation, transport of trolleys and cleaning. This is a busy kitchen with a fast paced work day.
Hutt Hospital food service provides approximately 1000 meals each day. All meals are prepared and served fresh onsite. We are committed to ensuring quality meals to our patients, staff, visitors and Meals on Wheels recipients.
