Physiotherapist - Surgical at Waikato District Health Board (Hamilton), Waikato

Where you’ll be working: Waikato Hospital

The details: 1 year Fixed Term, Full time from Dec 2022, 80 hours per fortnight

 

We have an exciting opportunity to work as part of our dynamic physiotherapy team working in Critical Care and on the surgical wards at Waikato Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a minimal of 2 years experience and have had experience in supervising students. Ideally the successful applicant will have significant clinical experience. However, we will also consider applicants with less experience who are wanting to develop a career pathway in this area.

Waikato Hospital promotes a multidisciplinary approach, and encourages evidence-based practice in achieving client outcomes. This position would be ideal for a strong team player who is looking for the chance to further develop their clinical skills in the critical care and surgical setting.

You will need to be able to utilise principles of cultural safety and apply a high level clinical expertise and independent professional judgment on a daily basis. This is a full time position that will involve participation on the weekend respiratory and oncall roster.
