Where you’ll be working: Older Persons and Rehabilitation Service. Waikato Hospital
The details: Permanent - 32 hours per week (but possibility of this role being extended to 40 hours per week)

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced physiotherapist to join our OPR – Older Persons and Rehabilitation Service, Monday – Friday, covering either inpatient or outpatient services.
You will work in partnership with other experienced clinicians and our multi-disciplinary team providing physiotherapy assessment and management services to our rehabilitation patients.
You will utilise principles of cultural safety and apply high level clinical expertise and independent professional judgment on a daily basis. You must be able to utilise high level evidence-based practice to develop, implement and evaluate individualised treatment programs, deliver health education, and participate in health promotion activities.
The successful candidate will need:
• NZ Physiotherapy registration and a current annual practicing certificate
• Ideally minimum of 3 years clinical experience
• Experience in rehabilitation preferable
• Experience taking students preferable
• Experience in service development
