About the Role
Te Whatu Ora Taranaki is seeking a permanent part-time Vision and Hearing Technician to join the Public Health Nursing Team.
This role is community based and involves screening a defined cohort of children aged 4-11 years.
To be sucessful in this position you need to have good communication, organisational and technical skills and the passion to work with tamariki/children to improve health outcomes.
Previous experience of working with children, in health or education would be an advantage but not a requirement as full trianing will be given.
The succesful candidate will need to complete the New Zealand Certificate In Health and Wellbeing - Vision Hearing Screening Strand (Level3) qualification
