This is a part-time position, working 40 hours a fortnight (0.5 FTE) for up to 12 months, covering parental leave.
We are looking for a personable and capable administrator, with outstanding communication and organisational skills, to join our clinical services support team at the Nelson Hospital. You will provide administrative support to our consultants and clinical teams.
This position requires close attention to detail to maintain accurate data management of our patient information care system and transcribing of medical documents.
The starting salary for these positions is $49,580 (pro rata i.e. based on a 40 hour working week).
A typing speed of 50 words per minute is essential. Dictaphone experience and medical terminology would be advantageous but not essential. Our preferred applicants will be required to undertake a computer skills assessment.

You'll respect the importance of maintaining patient confidentiality and will have demonstrated the ability to manage a busy workload. You'll be bright, outgoing and possess excellent interpersonal skills, and will provide a consistently high standard of customer service to our team.
For the health and safety of staff and patients all staff are required to be vaccinated in accordance with the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021.
