We are looking for an experienced and energetic System Engineer to work with great people in our Digital team to support the business in our day-to-day work and being involved in innovation projects from our Auckland Airport based workplace.

About the role
The System Engineer will:
- Proactively monitor, maintain and manage Authority systems.
- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes.
- Manage workload to complete. assigned tasks, and apply fixes to system vulnerabilities.
- Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.
- Support incident and security incident management.
- Work with vendors and others across the team to resolve problems.
What we’re looking for
We are looking for a proactive person, with 4-5 years System Engineering experience, who likes to apply their skills and knowledge to improving digital services and experiences.
They will enjoy working within a team of system and software engineers, and across a diverse team of safety and security regulatory professionals against an aviation backdrop.
