Ko tā mātou mahi | Our Role

We are looking to welcome a Graduate Accountant to our vibrant Manakau office. As a Graduate Accountant you will support Kāinga Ora to deliver high quality services through our Finance Shared Services (FSS) function, with the aim of progressing to fully qualified CPA or CA. Some of your main areas of focus in this broad scoping role will include:

  • Treasury Settlement
  • Cash Management
  • Procure to Pay
  • Finance Systems
  • Financial back office processing and management

This is an ideal opportunity to further develop your career in Finance, whilst being part of making a difference in the lives of New Zealand families. Some of the key skills and attributes that will help you succeed in this role include:

  • Eligiblity to enter, or already entered in the CPA Program, CA Program or equivalent
  • Knowledge of financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Great communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Analytical, interpretation and problem solving ability
  • An innovative continuous improvement philosophy
  • Enthusiastic, diligent team player mentality.
