About the role
Safer People actively supports the safety and wellbeing of our people to ensure they remain fit for work and fit for life and are deployable, through a prevention, advisory and responsive service delivery model. Our vision is that together we will create a culture where safety and wellness are understood, valued and are intrinsic in everything we do as we strive to keep ourselves and our communities safe. We are made up of 5 workstreams, all of which work together to provide a holistic toolbox of services to support all staff across NZ Police.
Your role will be to support the Safer People leadership team and wider Safer People team. You will be an autonomous worker that understands where Safer People is heading in relation to Our Business. Because this is a varied role, having a wide range of Police relationships will be useful, as you will need to utilise them to find solutions for the wider team. No two days will be the same, and this is a great opportunity to show your ability to create and maintain good relationships.
Key Accountabilities:
- Managing the workflow of invoices to enable timely contractor payment and accuracy of specialist service reporting data.
- Handle sensitive data
- Take accurate and thorough minutes for the Safer People leadership team and functions within
- Administration duties for the Leadership and Wider Safer People Team
- Booking of travel, accommodation and other purchase requisitions
- Communications with internal and external stakeholders.
