The Pūmanawa Tāngata (HR) team sits within He Pou Aronui - Organisational Capability & Services, a branch dedicated to supporting the rest of the Department to succeed.  We operate with an enterprise-view of Te Tari Taiwhenua, founded around our kaimahi, conditions and fiscal operating context. We're focused on creating and maintaining the right conditions for confidence, capability and sustainable success.

These are true generalist roles with plenty of challenge and ongoing opportunities to continue to grow as a HR professional.  The key to your success will be your proactive approach, natural curiosity and the ability to hit the ground running in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.  You'll use your proven HR experience and sound knowledge of HR principals, practices, and processes to navigate complexity and tailor solutions to meet a variety of business needs
