Based at 7 Springs Road, East Tamaki, We have an opportunity for a Clinical Co-ordinator to work alongside the Team Manager and Senior Medical Officers to support and enable best available clinical practice.
The Service operates at the interface between Mental Health Services and the Youth Justice System. You will be providing clinical, operational leadership and coordination of the youth forensic consult liaison team. Ensuring high quality specialist mental health consultation and input is provided to local youth forensic services and service users is provided, to improve the health outcomes and service user experience.
This role also includes working in partnership with colleagues across Child Adolescent CAMHS teams, Tū Māia (Regional Hub) and key stake holders. You will be responsible for co-ordinating the teams day to day activities to meet the clinical service objectives outlined in the annual business plan for Mental Health and Addictions Service
- Registered Clinician with an approved scope of practice that allows Mental Health and Addiction
- A minimum of five years’ experience working in a Mental Health Service, including community mental health teams
- Proficient and working towards an Expert PDRP or Merit
- Full & Clean NZ drivers licence
This role is empowered to make decisions or recommendations relating to service user care and is encouraged to use initiative and problem solving skills to develop innovative approaches to issues.
