Clinical Midwife Coordinator
Permanent, Part-time Positions Available
An exciting opportunity has presented for an experienced midwife to join our Clinical Midwife Coordinator (CMC) team in Maternity services.
You will work rostered, rotating shifts providing day to day clinical support, leadership and coordination of staff, systems and resources alongside a team of CMCs and Senior Midwives in Maternity Services.
As a CMC, you are the central point of communication across the inpatient maternity services, maintaining patient flow and ensuring safe and timely admissions, transfer/retrievals and discharges.

You will be working 32 hours per fortnight as a Clinical Midwife Coordinator, with a further 16 – 32 hours per fortnight as a Staff Midwife to make up a combination of 0.6 to 1.0 FTE (48 – 80 hours a fortnight).
Hours for Clinical Midwife Coordinator position likely to increase to 0.6 FTE over the next 12-24 months.
This role is currently being expanded to a 24/7 role so successful candidate will need to be willing and able to work regular nightshifts.
