Where you’ll be working: Waikato Hospital – you’ll be part of the Waikato Trauma Service working alongside the Midland Trauma Research Centre (MTRC) and the Midland Trauma System (MTS).
The details: Permanent - 20 hours per week
About the Waikato Trauma Service:
The Waikato Trauma Service was established in 2006 to coordinate and improve the quality and consistency of trauma care delivery at Waikato Hospital and across the Midland region. The focus of the MTRC is to identify and monitor trauma issues which can be addressed by our wider team.
About the role:

If this sounds like you, then this new role, with a focus on data collection could be for you. A large part of this role is the collection of non-major trauma data, working with the support of our Trauma Clinical Nurse Specialists.
• a current annual practicing certificate
• a minimum of 2 years post registration experience in an acute hospital setting
• excellent time management and communication skills
• ability to work autonomously, whilst paying attention to detail
• excellent computer skills – Microsoft office, iPM and CWS knowledge essential
• attention to detail and a quality improvement focus
