This role will supervise, oversee, direct and work alongside a team of Plumbers, Engineers, Electricians, and Carpenters at Nelson and a smaller team at Wairau Hospital in Blenheim, to meet the required service delivery standard.
We are looking for a talented people manager to provide leadership to our large and varied facilities team. You will ensure great service is provided by the facilities team across all our properties. You will also be responsible for ensuring that our health and safety standards are met.
The salary range for this full-time position is $80k - $90k dependent on skills, experience, and registration in NZ.

You will bring experience working in facilities in a complex
environment. You will have demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to
get the best out of your team. You will have a sound understanding of building,
infrastructure and property. A proven ability to plan work, drive your team and
provide first rate customer service will be paramount to your success
Experience in the health sector would be advantageous, but is not essential. A sound
working knowledge of Health and Safety practices is important.
For the health and safety of staff and patients all Te Whatu Ora (Nelson Marlborough) staff are required to comply with the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021, including boosters.
