Are you a leader who can influence and lead the team into the next journey of improvement?
In this role as a Charge Nurse and Professional Practice Lead, you will provide clinical leadership to a growing team of Resource Nurses and Healthcare Assistants. You will be supported by a team of five Resource Coordinator nurses, team administrator and an engaged senior leadership team. The ability to lead and support is vital given the integral part the resource team hold in providing excellent patient care across all settings including Adult, Child and Women's Health.
This role provides organisational influence through ensuring the resource team have the right skills, knowledge and support to provide a broad range of patient care. Daily operations plus performance development of a large team means the successful candidate needs excellent organisational and time management skills.
As an effective communicator you will need to integrate across all directorates, develop strong professional relationships and networks and work collaboratively to ensure quality patient care delivery across diverse settings.
Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
- Working toward a post graduate certificate in specialty nursing practice
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience post registration
- Minimum PDRP level 4 practice
- Leadership and patient management skills
