This newly created Principal Advisor Strategy & Partnerships role reports to the Head of Privacy and will be key part of our Privacy Leadership Team. ACC's Privacy function is strongly supported by senior leadership, and you'll be joining a dynamic, well-resourced team tasked with leading and growing the highest standard of care of personal information and privacy. The focus for this role is to provide strategic expertise to the organisation, driving ACC's privacy strategy and culture through strategic partnerships and proactive engagement. Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with leaders to develop, drive and support ACC's privacy strategy
- Establish and maintain key internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Provide strategic insights to the team and proactively identify and promote opportunities for an enhanced privacy culture
- Develop and use an understanding of the privacy landscape to identify emerging trends, issues, and implications and to inform ACC's strategic privacy direction
- Provide input into the analysis, monitoring, and reporting on progress against the privacy strategy, including for governance and board reporting
- Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Coach and mentor Privacy team members and support team capability development.
Ko wai koe | About you
We are seeking someone experienced in providing expert advice to inform organisational strategy development and partnership models. You'll have strong strategic analysis, planning and implementation skills and you'll bring to the team strategic expertise and advice that will continue to enhance ACC's privacy culture. Naturally you'll have strong relationship management skills and a proven ability to influence stakeholders. We'd prefer a tertiary qualification in business or a related discipline however significant work experience will be considered, ideally from the public sector or a similar large and complex organisation.

The base salary range for this role is $114,022 - $160,972 with appointment depending on skills and experience. ACC also offers 9% superannuation.
