Health and Addictions Wellbeing Coach
Fixed Term 0.7 FTE to 30 June 2023

Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager, Mental Health and Addiction
Service and working under the direction and delegation of the clinicians, this
new role has been established to work with and support, tangata whaiora/clients
and whanau/family. The support you offer will commence at the point of entry to
the service and/or at the point of transition from the service. The Wellbeing Coach will work collaboratively, in
a strength based and recover focused model enabling and supporting people to
make positive lifestyle changes, reduce high risk behaviours, manage stress and
improve health and wellbeing.
Right now we're looking for a Wellbeing Coach who can motive and inspire
and is an active role model for
effective client centred care. Other success factors for this role include;
- Previous mental health or addiction experience and completion of Level 4 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing
- Able to actively contribute to a multi-disciplinary model of care and committed to Maori health equity and improving access to services
- Sensitivity working with people of all cultures
