Ko tā mātou mahi - Our Role
As our new Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for the management of our specialised and complex core infrastructure platforms and act as the subject-matter expert in specialised technical support. This role will successfully coordinate the technical delivery of Infrastructure components for complex Technology and Business projects.
Working alongside our Solutions Architects, you will create the detailed design of technical solutions and have oversight of the monitoring of all elements within the technical infrastructure, aiming to optimise for efficiency in the short, medium and long-term.
We are looking for someone who enjoys collaborating with their peers to bring fit for purpose infrastructure to meet our business needs and to be the point of technical escalation for critical and complex service impacts.
Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring
- Extensive experience in implementing, supporting and managing Infrastructure systems (7 years)
- Experience in Service Desk and Desktop Support Engineering
- Experience working with suppliers to deliver solutions. G. IaaS, Citrix, Microsoft, TaaS, BRaaS and Databases.
- Experience managing core ICT infrastructure technologies including, Microsoft Server Operating Systems, Microsoft 365 products and services, Public Cloud Infrastructure (Azure, AWS), etc.
- A degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent technical qualification or applicable work experience in infrastructure support
