Mō te tūnga | About the role
Our Orthopaedic Outpatient Department cares for patients of all ages covering acute emergency/trauma, follow-up appointments and specialty clinics. No day will be the same with a variety of tasks including wound management, casting, splinting, patient education and running a variety of clinics.
Our Department provides Acute Orthopaedic Care in the new Emergency Department in Waipapa' rostered shifts 0800 through until 2300 hours. In addition to this we continue to provide follow up care in the Orthopaedic Outpatient Department (Boneshop) with clinics Monday ' Friday 0800-1730.

We are looking for energetic Registered Nurses to work in our busy emergency and outpatient specialty departments. In this role you will work a rotating roster across both areas, Acute Care and Boneshop. Your excellent interpersonal skills and flexibility will be key to your success in this role.
We will provide a comprehensive orientation package in a supportive environment to the successful applicant. You'll have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well under pressure within a multidisciplinary team environment. Professional development is supported, and you will have opportunities to attend training.
