Location: Wellington Hospital, Kenepuru Hospital, Hutt Valley Hospital and Wairarapa
Contract: 2 years fixed term
Salary: $95,733 to $143,600
Kōrero mō te tūranga ' About the role
This position is a key role within the Infrastructure and Security teams which is responsible for the Cyber Security program of work.
This involves the following functional responsibilities:
- Operational support and monitoring of ICT security systems.
- Triaging Cyber security events.
- Pro-active audits of network and application logon usage.
- Analysing and applying appropriate action for Cyber security threat advisories.
- Assisting with staff awareness and Phishing simulation campaigns.
- Joint ownership of the Cyber Security Incident response plan.
- Deployment of Security solutions as part of our security uplift programme.
- Security assessments of new and existing products and services.
- Development and implementation of policies and procedures.

Moū ' About you
We are looking for someone with 5+ year's Cyber Security operational experience including vulnerability and threat management. You will need a deep understanding of network and application security threats, attack techniques and mitigation options as well as network related protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, IPSEC, routing protocols, etc.) Experience using tools such as Endpoint solutions, Active Directory, Vulnerability and Intrusion detection systems. Knowledge of cloud computing (AWS/ Azure) architecture, M365 E5 security solutions and scripting skills using PowerShell and KQL would be advantageous. Have an understanding of standards and frameworks such as NZISM, HISO, NIST and PSR.
