Clinical Coordinator Emergency Mental Health Service at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Te Matau a Māui Hawke's Bay, Hawkes Bay

Permanent, Full-time 

80 hours per fortnight (1.0FTE)

 

We are looking for a full time Clinical Coordinator to join us and be part of an exciting and innovative new community-based service - He Tāwharau crisis response hub. We recognise that whanau in crisis require more than just a health response and that the first point of contact should not be Emergency Departments or Police unless required. We are designing a service that brings access to key health and social services for people in mental health crisis into one place

 

Reporting to the EMHS manager you will join a diverse multidisciplinary service delivering high quality, patient focused care with a whanau ora approach. The clinical leadership function of this role will involve taking responsibility for the coordination of the day to day running of the service , taking responsibility for the follow up of clinical matters and  provide professional advice and support to the team.

 

You will work together with our clinical and non-clinical mental health and addictions staff, cultural support staff and other community support services to ensure patients are getting better health outcomes.

 

The successful candidate will be a Registered Health Practitioner with previous experience in crisis mental health services and leadership who is highly motivated to join our team.
