Remuneration as per the PSA Allied Health MECA guidelines (between step 1 $58,513 - 8 $85,204)
The Franklin Locality Team based at Pukekohe Hospital is dedicated to improving and maintaining the health of older people in the Franklin area. We provide a range of services. We serve a diverse community and provide a range of services. This include Inpatient, Outpatient & Community Rehabilitation, Interim Care, Long Term and Palliative Care.
The Franklin Locality provides a range of services supported by a multidisciplinary team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Physiotherapist to work within the in-patient service, joining our friendly team. The Rehabilitation role provides the opportunity to work alongside GP’s, Geriatrician, nurses, Pharmacists and Allied Health professional groups.
The preferred candidate would be passionate and committed to providing patient focused care in a supportive and innovative environment. The ability to work as an effective team member and demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills is essential to this position. The Physiotherapist will assess and treat Stroke, Amputee, Orthopaedic and general surgical / medical patients. You may on occasion be asked to cover outpatient classes.
You will have supervision and peer support from our existing team of Physiotherapists. There will be ongoing opportunities for professional development and links within Middlemore Hospital site.
- Registration or eligibility to be registered with the NZ Physiotherapy Board with current Annual Practicing Certificate
- A current full clean NZ driver's licence
