We have a fantastic role available for an Occupational Therapist, Social Worker or Registered Nurse.
Kidz First Centre for Youth Health is a team of health professionals who provide advice and support for young people, along with their whaanau. Our team includes nurses, doctors, social workers and youth health workers. We provide support to young people aged 12 – 24 years, who experience complicated health and youth development concerns that have a significant impact on their lives. This includes young people who have chronic health conditions, developmental concerns, psychosomatic health issues, high-risk health behaviours, engaged in alternative education settings and seeking care to support transgender health.
At Kidz First Centre for Youth Health we believe that all young people have different strengths. We help by providing them with the information and skills that they need in order to manage their health and engage with their community.
These roles will form part of our multidisciplinary team to provide clinical care and support for young people and their families that promotes their health and wellbeing. The preferred candidate would be someone that will be able to encourage and support youth participation in Centre for Youth Health activities.
