We are looking for a Senior Dietitian to lead our small dedicated team of inpatient dietitians at Waitakere Hospital. We are ideally looking for a full time applicants, however would consider part time for the right applicant.

The ideal candidate would be a New Zealand registered Dietitian with leadership experience, who is self-motivated and enjoys working in a flexible and challenging environment and wants to continue to develop their leadership skills.

The role of the senior is to support the Clinical Leader, and provide leadership to a small team of inpatient Dietitians, support service development opportunities, and hold a clinical caseload within the team.

You would be part of a collaborative and patient-focused Allied Health Team, as well as being an integral part of the wider Dietitian team providing adult patient services across North Shore Hospital, Waitakere Hospital and satellite sites delivering inpatient, renal, outpatient and community services. In this role you would be one of six senior Dietitians across the service supporting clinicians and service development.

Nutrition and Dietetics Services offer excellent professional support which supports continuing competency requirements, opportunities for research, including regular protected time and clinical supervision.

To be successful in this role you will be an experienced dietitian with strong clinical expertise, great communication and prioritisation skills, be results-driven, efficient in your time management, and enjoy working both independently and as part of a strong quality-focused team.
