Maintenance Team Worker at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Te Matau a Māui Hawke's Bay, Hawkes Bay

Permanent, Full-time 

80 hours per fortnight (1.0FTE)

 

We are looking to employ a Maintenance Team Worker based with the Facilities Maintenance team at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand, Te Matau a Māui, Hawke’s Bay

 

As a team worker you will be part of the Maintenance Team based from our well equipped workshop on the Hospital site in Hastings.

 

You will be responsible for performing general handyman related tasks and assisting other team members. This is very much an on the tools position for a practical hands on person. Previous work in electrical, mechanical, plumbing or carpentry fields would be an advantage.

 

To be successful in this role you will have:

•             Awareness of general workshop Health and Safety

•             Experience working in a maintenance or trade environment

•             Ability to manage your own work load and focus on the priority's

•             General knowledge of facility maintenance

•             Computer literacy

•             High level of personal presentation with excellent customer skills

•             Full driver license
