We are seeking a Registered Mental Health Clinician to join EPIT (Early Psychosis Intervention Team), in the vibrant and culturally diverse community of South Auckland.
At Counties Manukau District, people and their lives matter to us. Our community based Early Psychosis Intervention Service (EPIT) based at 7 Springs Road, Eat Tamaki is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Social Worker. Our team engages young adults (<30 years) and their whaanau along the road towards their recovery. This specialist service provides assessment and treatment for adolescents and young adults presenting with a first episode of psychosis.
Our EPIT service provides specialist mental health care for those with serious mental health problems, and a diagnostic pathway for those whaiora presenting with symptoms suggestive of Ultra High Risk of developing a psychotic illness; and provide consultation and liaison with primary care partners for those with mild to moderate concerns.
- Registration and an Annual Practising Certificate with NZ Social Workers Board
- Full, clean driver’s licence
- Ability to work in a diverse community
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
