Contract: Permanent Part Time (0.8 FTE) Monday to Friday
Salary: Step 1-5 of the HCA scale of the NZNO MECA

We have an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to work in our Outpatients Clinic Monday to Friday between the hours of 0800-1430. As a Healthcare Assistant, we offer the opportunity to join our supportive & dedicated team in the Orthopaedic Clinic at Wellington Regional Hospital.

We are a small and dedicated team with a passion for all Orthopaedic conditions, acute and elective. We take pride in providing excellent care in a dynamic environment, this also includes clinic work and plastering skills.
We provide tertiary care for Orthopaedic Acute and the treatment of Orthopaedic Elective Conditions for up to 19,000 people per year.

- -Clinic preparation
- -Environmental set-up for clinics
- -Assisting with running of clinics
- -General tidiness and restocking
- -Stores maintenance, supplies
- -Checking plastering equipment
- -Waiting room patient flow
Skills and Experience:
- -Level 3 NZQA National Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (or Equivalent qualification)
- -Patient focused
- -Interest in Orthopaedic Specialty
- -Manual Handling
- -Excellent Communicator
- -Team focused
