Come and join the Te Whatu Ora team as a Registered Nurse in our Waikato Emergency Department! We are on the hunt for Registered Nurses to come and join Waikato’s ED team. Working in a busy environment, this role will provide you with the variety you are after. We welcome you into a supportive team where we provide excellent nursing care to our patients and their whanau, working within a multidisciplinary team approach. Mō tātou Ratonga | About our Service

The Waikato ED is the major regional referral and trauma centre for the Midland region. We see approximately 85,000 patients per year with a broad case mix of presentations from paediatrics to geriatrics, medicine to trauma – there is no aspect of emergency medical care we do not provide.

Mōu | About you

You will have a current annual practising certificate or be eligible to gain one. You will also need to have the eligibility to work in New Zealand. As the ideal candidate, you will have a minimum of 2 years of recent post-registration experience in emergency or acute care nursing. You will demonstrate commitment to customer-focused service delivery, exhibiting highly effective communication skills. This is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same, therefore, you will be able to work autonomously whilst still being a team player!
