Contribute to transforming the future of health and join the Primary Care team in the role of Team Administrator. Primary Care is a government priority, a well-connected effective Primary Health Care system that is equitable, meets Te Tiriti obligations and is patient centered is pivotal to improving patient health outcomes. This is an opportunity for you to be part of this mahi.
As Team Administrator you will closely support the Manager, Primary Care and the wider group. This is a role where you will be exposed to key relationships, interesting work, and government processes. The team is inclusive and supportive, with a core focus on equity, diversity, and inclusion. The Team Administrator will give the Primary Care Team the support they need to effectively deliver their work programmes.
Day-to-day you will be supporting the team with general admin, inbox and calendar coordination, managing financial processes and travel, proof reading, supporting with minute taking, communicating with stakeholders and assisting the team with their mahi. You will also contribute to process development and have the opportunity to work on projects as they arise.
The team is open to someone early in their career, who has an interest in this mahi and wants to develop in the role while getting some key experience.
There is a preference that this role is Wellington based, but we welcome applicants from around the motu who want to work remotely.
Mōu | About you
You are naturally organised and proactive, and the idea of working in health appeals to you. You have strong admin skills gained throughout your career or study and know how to establish priorities and meet deadlines while preserving high levels of accuracy. You're a strong communicator who is culturally competent and conscious of the audience you are communicating with.

This role requires and/or would benefit from the following;

An understanding of the significance of and obligations under Te Tiriti o Waitangi, including how to apply Te Tiriti principles in a meaningful way in your role

Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a willingness to learn and grow

Excellent organisation skills and the ability to problem solve

Experience and comfort working in a fast-paced environment whilst also demonstrating critical thinking and sound judgement
