Senior Speech- language Therapist
Permanent 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week – Monday to Friday)
The Clinical Support Service is seeking a dynamic health professional to support our dedicated Speech Pathology team. The senior role provides safe and effective services to people, whānau and communities with demonstration of in-depth knowledge and skills to enable management of complex presentations/situations. This role will also have responsibility for providing leadership for less experienced practitioners and team members, assisting with the development of their knowledge and skills. The role involves both inpatient and outpatient caseloads for both adults and children.
This position reports to the Service Manager Clinical Support Service.
Do you have an appropriate tertiary level qualification and registration in Speech Language Therapy?
Do you have an interest and desire to lead and work with a dedicated team of health professionals?
The preferred applicant will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be able to prioritise a changing workload, set and meet objectives in the acute health environment. The applicant should have three or more years experience in a hospital setting.
Salary range: $85 - $99K
