Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
Reporting to the Charge Nurse Communicable Disease, this fixed term position until 30th June 2023 will contribute to the mahi of ARPHS to protect the communities of Tāmaki Makaurau from notifiable and infectious diseases. The role works as part of the Tuberculosis (TB) care and control program, supporting eligible tamariki in Tāmaki Makaurau to get a BCG vaccination to protect them against the most severe forms of TB. In this full time role your amazing attention to detail, IT skills, and customer service skills are needed to provide effective and efficient administration support to the BCG programme.
The BCG Team administrator forms part of the BCG team, providing administration to support efficient and effective operations of the BCG programme. This includes all aspects of appointment booking and management (including receiving and responding to phone calls and e-mails from caregivers), booking interpreters and referring for mantoux tests and management of data within the booking system.
The BCG team administrator has a role to play in operational efficiency and oversees the administrative KPI’s of the programme, including supporting the Charge Nurse and/or BCG Lead PHN with reporting and presentations, document management and quality management. This is an opportunity to bring your outstanding administration skills, strong relationship building skills and positive attitude to be part of a passionate and supportive team.
The BCG team administrator works closely with the Communicable Disease Team Administrator and the SHED Team Administrator to provide support to ensure the administrative workload of the broader team is covered. There may also be times when this role is required to support the Team Administrators from other departments within ARPHS.
