We are looking for an outstanding Charge Nurse Manager to lead Ward 2, our combined Cardiology/Haematology and General Medicine ward at Middlemore Hospital into the future; continuing to grow and develop the current team within the ward to provide safe patient and whaanau focused care.
There is an intention to increase the amount of Cardiology beds on ward 2 so a passion/and /or experience in Cardiology is preferred.
In this fast-paced environment, as Charge Nurse Manager, you will be required to provide strong clinical and professional leadership to your team and will create a fantastic working environment where everyone wants to work. You will need great interpersonal skills, lots of enthusiasm, be a team player and be very well organised. - New Zealand Nursing Registration
- Current Annual Practicing Certificate
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Acute Nursing – preferably within a Cardiology setting
- Demonstrated expertise in setting standards and managing excellence in practice
- Ability to provide coaching and mentoring
- Proven leadership and staff management experience
