- A current Annual Practicing Certificate from Nursing Council of New Zealand.

Mō te tūnga | About the role
Ward BG is a 20 bedded, inpatient assessment, treatment and rehabilitation service based at Burwood Hospital. We provide comprehensive assessment of the mental and physical health of the older people in our service. Our aim is to optimise the patient's level of functioning by offering specialist treatment, care, support and education for patients over 65 years, predominantly experiencing acute episodes of dementia or delirium.

You will join the team as a highly motivated and enthusiastic enrolled nurse, with an interest in psychiatric services for the elderly. You will also have a willingness to learn and excellent interpersonal skills.
In order to be successful in this role you will have the following:
- Compassion, good communication and organisational skills as well as sound assessment skills are essentials.
- A solution focused approach along with the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Organisational skills as a key component to the role is coordinating the care with all members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure positive outcomes for your patients.
