Contract: Permanent, full-time
Salary: $59,627 to $63,984 depending on experience
Kōrero mō te tūranga ' About the role
The main tasks, as indicated below, are carried out on a rostered basis:
- Turning requisitions for operational and capital spending into purchase orders
- Follow up with suppliers regarding timely delivery of purchase orders (ETAs and back-orders)
- Contact suppliers about current pricing for non-catalogue purchase orders
- Investigate pricing issues for invoices place on hold
- Liaise with end-users regarding issues relating to their requisitions

The Purchasing Team is a small team of four purchasing officers, one catalogue and contracts administrator and is led by the Team Leader Purchasing who also fulfils the role of the Oracle system accountant.
Moū ' About you
We are looking for a person who has worked in customer services or similar roles before. You will have experience in working with computer systems and are able to create simple spreadsheets.
