Te Whatu Ora Counties Mental Health Service for Older People (MHSOP) is looking for a full time Consultant Psychiatrist to join their integrated community and inpatient team.

Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau is a growing and culturally diverse region with both urban and rural areas and is one of the largest healthcare providers across South Auckland. CM Health has developed a reputation for bringing an enthusiastic and innovative approach to meeting those with mental health needs. 
 

The Mental Health Service for Older People (MHSOP) is looking for a full time Consultant Psychiatrist to join their integrated community and inpatient  team. Our service provides assessment and treatment for Older People with mental health problems. MHSOP community team and inpatient service is made up of two multidisciplinary clinical teams and an inpatient service all based at Middlemore Hospital. You will be part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team of health professionals including 5 Consultants and 2 Registrars

Essential:

  • Eligible to register or registered in a Vocational scope with the Medical Council of New Zealand (eligibility for registration can be checked via this link https://www.mcnz.org.nz/get-registered/registration-self-assessment-tool/ )
  • Current Annual Practising Certificate with the NZMC
