People and Development are looking to increase our advisory services with an additional two staff. The health sector has some interesting complexity that includes many union agreements, and the recent nationalisation of services where Health NZ has replaced the 20 previously regionally run district health boards. On offer is a healthy variety of generalist HR work. We have a desire to bring skills and experience that supports us developing our portfolio model, based on your area of interest or specialisation.

The remuneration range for these roles is $ $65,000 - $107,000 depending on skills and experience, under an individual employment agreement.

Moū - About you

You understand a fast moving and complex environment well. You are known for your energy, positive mind-set, and consultative approach to your work. Previous health sector experience is advantageous. Also beneficial is having worked, in a unionised environment, and/or through change management.

To succeed in your application you can show the following:

• A relevant tertiary level qualification or the equivalent relevant work experience
• Broad Human Resource experience 
• Previous HR experience with a special interest and/or deeper skill set in at least one aspect eg. IR/ER
• Experience working with Human Resource Management Systems (HRIS)
• Strong people skills with a demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail
• A working knowledge of Microsoft office suite
