Registered Nurse - PACU/Recovery Level 8 Operating Rooms at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Te Toka Tumai Auckland, Auckland

Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

Are you a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 12 months’ recent experience in PACU, ED, ICU or an acute surgical setting? Here is an exciting opportunity for you to work within a dynamic multi-disciplinary perioperative team. Our Adult and Emergency PACU team works within varied specialties for both acute and elective procedures. We operate in state of the art surroundings with a supportive team committed to delivering excellence in quality of care to our patients in general surgery, vascular, colorectal, hepatobiliary, orthopaedics, neurosurgery (adults and paediatrics), and kidney, pancreatic and liver transplants (adults and paediatrics). Te Toka Tumai is a national referral centre for several specialties, so you will be exposed to surgeries you may not see elsewhere in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills

You are an experienced and dynamic Registered Nurse ready to hone your acute skills and critical decision making. You will preferably already have New Zealand experience working in PACU / Recovery or high acuity surgical nursing and are ready to further develop your practice within the Perioperative environment.

You will be part of a high performing, tight knit and supportive team who all have a common passion, care and enthusiasm for delivering a high quality experience and outcome for our patients.
