Health Coach - Medical Bariatric Service, Te Whatu Ora - Counties Manukau District at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Counties Manukau, Auckland

Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role

Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau is launching a new Medical Bariatric Service - a generational opportunity to design and champion an innovative, equitable, patient-centric service from the ground up. The programme supports metabolic health and remission of type 2 diabetes where possible. This service will be co-designed with cross-sector stakeholders to integrate family units, engage whaanau and community supports, all of which is culturally led and governed by the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi/The Treaty of Waitangi.

We are looking for experienced Health Coaches, with a passion for quality patient and whaanau care. This position represents an exciting opportunity to work within a multi-disciplinary team to provide complex obesity management including medically supervised low-calorie liquid diet.

Salary and conditions of service will be in accordance with the New Zealand PSA Award Agreement.
