Contract:  Permanent and fixed term for maternity leave cover

Salary:      MERAS Meca, Community Midwives Scale Step 2 $65022 to Step 8 $89794

Our multi-disciplinary maternity team work alongside the pregnant people of the Hutt Valley Region as they transition through pregnancy.

Moū - About you

We would love you to join our close knit and supportive community midwifery team.

You would:

  • need a current midwifery practising certificate
  • have a full drivers licence
  • have current knowledge of antenatal and postnatal advice
  • be able to work autonomously in the community setting, providing antenatal and postnatal care
  • have the ability to build trusting relationships quickly with a very diverse community
  • have a passion to provide culturally appropriate care that meets the needs of the community
