Service:    Surgical Woman - s and Children - s Health Service

Contract:  Permanent full-time and Permanent Part-Time

Salary:     $66,570 - $95,340 Meca NZNO

Registered Nurse role on the Children - s Ward.  Permanent full- time and permanent part-time positions are available. We are looking for nurses who have a passion for working with babies/children/adolescents and their families.

Mō tō mātou rōpū - About our team

Children - s Ward is a busy 16 bed ward which caters for Medical and Surgical patients and provided regional service for paediatric Burns and Plastics patients.

It is an exciting opportunity to work in a multi- speciality ward. You will working in partnership with babies, children and adolescents and their families. You will have the opportunity to care for acute medical and surgical patients and develop skills in burns and plastic surgery nursing.

Children - s Ward team at Hutt Valley  is dynamic. Team members are professional, friendly and team focused. We have a multi-disciplinary team approach to provide best outcomes for our patients.

Applicants should have:

  • Current Practising Certificate
  • Paediatric experience and resilience in a very busy environment
  • Are team focused and have positive attitude
  • Have excellent time management and communication skills
  • Are professional and a have caring manner
