Health Care Assistant Outpatients at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Lakes, Bay of Plenty

Health Care Assistant Outpatients
Permanent, 72 hours per week, work between Monday & Friday

An exciting opportunity has become available to work as an Health Care Assistant and join our passionate and multi-disciplinary team at Outpatients at Lakes

About the role
•    Daily support to the running of outpatients under direction of the RN
•    Partime Permanent, Monday – Fridays 
•    0.9 FTE Monday – Friday 0730-1600

About you

You should have 
•    The ability to work well within a team environment
•    A competent level of Computer knowledge
•    A passion for patient centered care 

You would be required to assist in the day to day maintenance of Outpatient clinics. 
This involves
•    Setting up and running of clinics on a day to day basis. 
•    A proficient understanding of Infection Control and Maintaining cleanliness of the unit.
•    Ordering and maintaining of stock.
•    Acting as a Chaperone for patients as required.
•    Assist with patient management as per supervising RN within the area. This includes Blood pressure checks and ECG support


Salary range
$51,770 - $61,540 pro-rated to hours worked. 

To be eligible to work at Te Whatu Ora Lakes, you must be fully vaccinated, including COVID-19.
