No two days are the same when you work with a diverse patient group with complex presenting conditions.
Ward B8 is a busy, acute ward caring for patients with neurological conditions including; brain tumours, head injuries, spinal tumours, movement disorders and seizures. As the largest inpatient neuroscience facility in the South Island it is a busy medical and surgical environment caring for a complex patient group with a diverse range of neurological and neurosurgical conditions.
Our large multidisciplinary team are a skilled, passionate group of specialists focused on advancing care that will improve clinical outcomes for our patient group. We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team who is passionate about patient centred care and is keen to advance their nursing skills and knowledge. We have a great team who operate in a very collegial, inclusive environment with the MDT, which will serve to enhance your learning. Ward B8 is also a Dedicated Education Unit and we have a Progressive Care Unit which also provides an opportunity to expand your nursing and observation skills.

- Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current APC
- Should have the ability to work rostered shifts in a multi-disciplinary team
