Contract: Permanent - part time 0.6 to 0.9 FTE
Salary: NZNO Nurses & Midwifes MECA Step 1 to Step 7 - based on experience

We are looking for a nurse who is a team player and enjoys the challenge of a constantly changing environment. Our ward is well known for its team work and you would be supported to take patients using our acuity based system. Surgical knowledge is preferred but not essential, as we have supported and up skilled nurses who now love working in the surgical environment.

The General Surgical & Gynaecological (GSG) Ward is a 27 bed ward caring for acute and elective surgical conditions, upper and lower GI surgery, breast surgery and gynaecological surgery and conditions. Whether you starting out in your career or looking for new challenges after 20 years on the job, we can offer you a supportive skilled environment where you can grow and learn.
Moū - About you
If you are a motivated and enthusiastic nurse and enjoy the challenge of working with a variety of clinical cases, we would love to hear from you. Excellent communication skills and flexibility to work rostered and rotating shifts is imperative for this role. You will be required to work well under pressure within a multidisciplinary team.
