Incentive & Product Lead at Accident Compensation Corporation, Wellington

As part of the leadership team and reporting to the Manager, Business Incentives and Products, we have an exciting new opportunity for a Product Lead to join our team within Business Partnerships. You will be responsible for a portfolio of Business Products and will be leading the strategic delivery of Business Customer Products and Incentives to drive better business customer outcomes, experience by building on and improving our products.

As our Product Lead you will lead the development of the incentive or product through the entire lifecycle ensuring a focus on a quality customer and user experience. You will monitor the effectiveness of the product through performance monitoring, operational efficiencies, and the voice of the customer.

Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring continuous improvement of services that increase value and efficiency and improve customer outcomes across Business Products and Incentives.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the strategic development of a portfolio of Business Product and Incentives, ensuring alignment to Enterprise Strategy.
  • Understand how ACC's Business customers, Intermediaries currently use the product, or service and how they want to use it in the future and the value it provides
  • Creating the product or service vision, strategy and roadmap through collaboration and co-creation with customers and key stakeholders.
  • Full ownership of the performance of Business Products and Incentives, monitoring performance and analysing data to provide insights that will enhance product performance.
  • Leading product changes and ensuring comprehensive change management practices are in place for successful execution.
  • Champion opportunities to embed Whāia te Tika and to promote diversity and inclusion.

What we are looking for from you to be successful in this role:

  • You have experience leading the development of products and strategies from ideation to fruition.
  • Exceptional relationship management, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically about business objectives.
  • Experience in shaping effective business strategies and gaining endorsement from stakeholders
  • ACC knowledge of products and systems is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of challenges that New Zealand businesses face and the complex environments they operate within.
  • Product thought leadership, with the ability not to be bound by the status quo, and to explore future value.
  • Experience in working with all levels within an organisation, especially able to communicate effectively with senior management.

The role is competitively remunerated - with the salary range from $97,887 to $126,600 (pending experience) plus a further 9% superannuation for a combined package.
