About the role:


The Tenancy Practice and Stewardship team is responsible for ensuring quality and consistency of operational practice, providing advice and reporting across Tenancy Services, supporting the work needed to  deliver on our strategic and tactical goals.  

 

As the Senior Advisor - Tenancy Practice and Stewardship you’ll have the opportunity to work on both the operational and strategic elements, including regulatory strategies and action plans, annual business planning, reporting and workforce and capability roadmaps.  

 

You’ll also have the opportunity to:

 

  • Be involved in a range of projects across Tenancy Services delivering both operational and strategic results 
  • Champion the embedding of QMS across Tenancy services
  • Be a key person in designing and delivering Tenancy Services reporting and business plans
  • Be a key person in the management and delivery of Tenancy Services obligations around OIA and Media responses

Skills and experience required:

 

  • A solid understanding and experience in machinery of government requirements within the public sector
  • Experience planning and delivering key pieces of work/projects, to meet business needs
  • Strong relationship management skills with proven success building strong connections 
  • Well-developed professional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Persistent and rigorous approach to problem solving
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand
